Our story, like many others in Wichita Falls, starts with the military. We were brought to Wichita Falls on military orders to teach at the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Preliminary course at Sheppard AFB. While stationed here Paul retired from the Air Force and we all decided to make Wichita Falls our permanent home. One of our kids is a senior at Rider HS, and will be graduating in class 2020. We fell in love with the business community and the people in this town and want to help bring more jobs into the town. We have plans to expand our business well beyond Wichita Falls, and believe that this is the perfect place to establish a base.
Paul joined the Air Force in 2004, and served until 2018. He started his career as an electronic warfare analyst and had his first duty station in San Antonio, TX. It was during that assignment that Paul met his now wife Eva, and she has followed him from base to base since then. After 5 years of working as an analyst, Paul went to training to become an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Technician. He served 9 more years as an EOD Technician and was stationed at Sheppard AFB, TX for his final assignment in the Air Force. While still in the military Paul started a small local business that is still going strong today. It was during the operation of that business Paul and Eva thought that Wichita Falls needed a laser engraver that pays attention to detail, can do jobs in a short amount of time, and at a reasonable cost. In February of 2019 Texoma Laser became a reality, and we have been working non-stop since then. Paul is also currently finishing his pursuit of a Business Management degree.
Eva is a native Texan who cooked her way into Paul’s life. She has bounced around from base to base, and waited patiently through deployments and military travels following Paul through his career. Like many military spouses, she has worked numerous jobs and gained a wealth of experience over the years. She she has a background in music, loves the arts, and has a passion for quilting that has deep roots in her family history. Eva and Paul have been married for well over a decade and have two kids. Eva is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development, and would love to help educate today’s youth.
